Use flickr on your BlackBerry to record Halloween

Halloween on a Friday. Does it get any better? It means all the best parties are tonight, and you’re probably going to want to take some pictures while you’re out with friends. So now sounds like as good a time as any to pimp the flickr application for your BlackBerry. It’s a simple, free interface which gives you many of the functionalities of the desktop version. Just download it to your phone, and you’re ready to snap and instantly upload pictures to the Web.

Once you snap a picture, you can open the flickr app and get to work. You can choose a photoset, tag the photo, and resize if necessary. If you have a GPS that isn’t crippled by your carrier, you can also geotag the photos.

Too bad the Storm isn’t out yet. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera, superior to the Bold, Curve, and Pearl, which sports 2 megapixel models. Same as the iPhone. Still, BlackBerry owners will be better off than most of the crowd, what with their VGA and 1.3 megapixel cameras. Pshaw.

You can download the flickr application at the BlackBerry official site. Yes, it is 100 percent free. Data charges will apply for the photo upload.
