We’ve been quite fans of Handmark and their mobile portal Pocket Express. It takes tons of news sources and puts them right in front of you. They do a lot more than that, though. Part of that includes mobile news sites. But before checking them out, head over to BB Cool, where Kyle has put together his top 10 Handmark news apps.

Unfortunately, Kyle doesn’t go into many of the cooler ones. Which is fine — I don’t expect everyone to be fans of the New York Knicks and Rangers, yet they have news apps available which surely would have made my top 10. Hopefully they add more of these. They don’t take up much space, and there are just so many publications to choose from. Plus, having two New York and two Oregon sports teams just isn’t enough. We need the whole shebang.

It’s worth checking out if you spend time browsing news sites on your BlackBerry.
