The Amazing Whippoh Giveaway

Hello all you BBGeeks out there. If you have been following us on Twitter for the past few weeks you will have seen our awesome giveaway for the Wallpaper Shuffle application. That application was developed by Fabian Heuwieser for the BlackBerry Storm and he was kind enough to give us 200 licenses to distribute to all the Storm owners on our list.

Well we are at it again folks. BBGeeks and Fabian have teamed up to bring you a funky new app for your Storm that should bring a few smiles to your face and draw a few glares from your co-workers or significant other.

Introducing Whippoh

whippoh Whippoh is not your regular BlackBerry application. It does not focus on allowing you to Get Things Done in a more efficient manner. Whippoh does not enhance your email or offer you cool alerts. You can not message people using Whippoh and it will not extend your battery life.

Instead, what you can do with Whippoh is motivate others to do what you want them to do. Well it might not work exactly like that, but it does allow you to punctuate your directions/instructions with the sound of a cracking whip!

You want coffee? – yell at someone to bring you coffee, make a whip-like motion with your arm and wrist and hear the CRACK! You will get your coffee.

You want that parking space? – Get that old man to move faster than green grass through a goose when you crack the whip (make sure you get his good ear though).

In all seriousness though, you probably won’t be able to get anyone to do anything but laugh or glare at you when you break into Indiana mode but who cares. The app is fun and a nice little jaunt into the iPhone style apps that are uber popular.
