Ah, those kids at Boy Genius Report. They’ve always got the BlackBerry scoop (well, except this one). Up now: BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.5. It’s expected to come out alongside the OS 4.5 upgrade…which hopefully means next month at WES. The biggest difference upon first look is, well, everything. The user interface has been completely overhauled, which should be good news for those who were unimpressed by BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.3. Picture coming after the jump.

It looks pretty sleek. However, BGR reports that looks are the biggest upgrade. Functionally, it’s looking similar to its predecessors. The only change that BGR noted was that the CD and DVD burning function offered by Roxio is no longer there. It’s just the Roxio Media Manager now. I used to use it to burn CDs, and I gotta say, that’s the only thing it was good for. So I’m not too optimistic on that front.
BGR has a ton of pictures over at their post, if you want to see a few more screen shots.
Now, if we can just get a peek at OS 4.5…
