So, did all of you Mac and BlackBerry users see the news yesterday? I know they’d been talking about it for a while, but Netflix finally added streaming capabilities for Mac users. So this means I can finally re-join Netflix. Here’s another reason: SmartFlicks. It’s an application for your BlackBerry which manages your Netflix queue. Pretty neat, huh?

In addition to sorting and adding movies to your queue, you can now check out movie synopses. That saves a trip to IMDB.com from your Berry. SmartFlicks also has a level of recommendations and star ratings, just like the desktop Netflix interface. They’re working to add even more Netflix features, like displaying the availability of movies in your queue.
You can head over to Pysix Mobile’s website to sign up for and download SmartFlicks.
