How will you follow March Madness on your BlackBerry?

Posted by Joe on March 17, 2009

St. Patrick’s Day isn’t just a time for people to get together and get hammered. It also means that March Madness is near. The tournament begins on Thursday, and it will be one of the most-watched events in the nation over the next few weeks. Unfortunately, most of us have this pesky thing called work that prevents us from watching the action live. Fret not. There are plenty of ways to keep up with the action on your BlackBerry. You might not get the live action, but it’s the next best thing.

Viigo

This seems like a great way to follow the tournament. We know that it has the ability to continually check scores, but this year they’ve provided one more means of interaction. Via Kevin, we learn that you can pick your brackets right on Viigo and compete against other users. You just have to get it an hour before the first tipoff on Thursday.

Yahoo! Widget

If you’re a fan of Yahoo! Mobile Service, you can check out their NCAA Tournament widget. It provides live score updates, stats, and more. If you don’t use Viigo, this is a strong alternative.

ESPN.com

Hey, it’s going to be on the front page, so you might as well check your scores from ESPN.com.

Where else do you get your NCAA Tournament updates? Hopefully the comments can supply a comprehensive list.
