I occasionally have a desire to let some of my contacts know about applications I am using on my BB. HOWEVER, I will never knowingly use an application that does so without my explicit permission for EVERY instance. My contacts are all either clients, other business associates, friends or family and I have zero desire to annoy any of them.

Worse than the spam though is that in order for its automatic contact to work, every email you get on your BlackBerry is forwarded to their servers. The security/privacy of that is enough to make most anyone shudder no matter what assurances the company provides.
