Just after last week’s BBGeekcast, the new Facebook hit the airwaves. It’s version 1.7, which we first learned about last month. It adds a few new features to the BlackBerry Facebook experience, like better filtering options for friends’ updates. It’s pretty much everything that was reported back in September. After the jump, the list of new features.

• NEW! View your friends’ highlights like status updates, photo uploads, comments and wall posts.
• NEW! Check out your friends’ profiles with access to status updates, wall posts, friends and recently added pictures.
• NEW! Open recently added photos, entire albums, or tag photos of friends. You can even comment on pictures!
