Earlier this month we celebrated the release of Evernote for BlackBerry. This is an excellent note-taking and organization system which allows you to upload voice and text notes, images, and other multimedia. Originally the software was available only for devices running OS 4.6 or higher. We now learn, from BlackBerry Rocks, that Evernote is now available for the BlackBerry Curve series. This is great news, especially since the Curve is one of the most popular, if not the most popular, BlackBerry models.
In case you missed the original post on Evernote, or you need a refresher:
- Create and edit new notes on the fly
- Snap a photo right into your account
- Record a quick voice memo
- Attach files to notes
- Search and find all of your notes
This is available on all Curve models on most major carriers. You can get it from Evernote’s homepage, which allows you to download it to your desktop and sideload it. You can get it OTA there, too, or you can just go to BlackBerry App World.

My blackberry is giving me an error. “This application requires the following module which is not installed: net_rim_xml_org v 4.2 (is this supported?) T-mobile curve 8320.
@cheesmo Whatever application you are trying to run is looking for that file. this means one of two things. 1. the software is compiled incorrectly and you should contact the developer to inform them of the error. 2. Your device software (OS) is not up to date and you should therefore upgrade and then try running that software again.
Nevermind me, I’m a goof. I thought I needed a newer BB, I just need to update the OS! Cool! I’ve only had it for a month. I didn’t know I could do that! Slacker radio, here I come!
