When it comes to streaming radio, I’m a huge fan of Pandora, and religiously use the Pandora for BlackBerry app. There are alternatives, though, and one of them is FlyCast. This app has over 1,500 channels, including many terrestrial radio stations. You can check their channel list here. In addition, you can purchase caching capabilities, which allow you to download hours of music for use when you’re out of cell range. It’s $9.95 for five hours and $19.95 for 20 hours, and that’s a one-time fee. So check out FlyCast if you want. Here’s a video that goes over all the features.

…How’s that again?
Sue, the caching is a set limit. If you pay $10, you can cache up to five hours of music at any time. If you pay $20, you can cache up to 20 hours of music at any given time. So you’re basically paying for storage space.
