You can’t tell me you’ve never lost your BlackBerry. Okay, maybe if you got it in the past month or so. But it’s inevitable. At one point or another, probably when you need it the most, your BlackBerry will go into hiding. It’s kind of like the handset finder from your cordless phone.
So if you’re about to punch a wall in frustration, stop for a second and head to your computer. Send a trigger email to your device, and it will start beeping. Follow the beeps to your phone.
Of course, that won’t help you if you left your phone at the bar last night. In that case, your email’s content will automatically be displayed on the screen, so you can leave instructions for anyone who finds it. DISCLAIMER: Decision on whether to follow those instructions is at the sole discretion of the person who found your phone.
