Removing the IS Prefix From Facebook for BlackBerry Application

As you may very well know, we here at BBGeeks.com are big fans of the Facebook for BlackBerry application. When it first arrived on the scene we welcomed it with open arms and a guided video tour.

There was always one little thing that bothered us about the application however; and that was the fact that, despite the removal from the main site, the cursed “IS” prefix remained in place taunting us with Facebook updates that read like a first grader wrote them.


Well today we received news that our prayers have been answered. That’s right folks, the “IS” is now a thing of the past. A figment of your imagination if you will . . .
