Facebook “is” for you and BB

So, yesterday we mentioned how we were a bit robbed of the “remove the is from the Facebook status” victory because the Facebook Blackberry software application was still forcing the “is” in the status updates.
Well, when I was looking at my status updates screen from the app last night, I realized suddenly that a lot of my friends seemed to be illiterate:

But, no, it isn’t that they’re illiterate, it’s that the Facebook app is not only appending the “is” to my own status updates, but it is appending it to every status update shown on the app. This must make the owners of the bring back the is group pretty happy.
We’ve tried un-installing and re-installing the application, but the “is” remains. Now all we can do is sit back and wait for RIM to update it.

This is such a simple fix for RIM to do at this point but it’s so minor it probably won’t be addressed unless their are some MAYJOR changes within the Facebook application.
