Xtensor relieves your BlackBerry Thumb

Posted by Joe on July 24, 2008

It seems we’re seeing more and more news on BlackBerry thumb lately. With RIM now topping 16 million devices worldwide, it isn’t much of a surprise. It’s like gamer’s thumb back in the day, and that was never a pleasant experience, or so I’ve heard. Laptop Magazine has gotten their hands on the Xtensor, a contraption that gives your fingers a workout, and which might just help prevent BlackBerry thumb.

Remember the Gripmaster? You know, the things that were said to strengthen your fingers, hands, and wrists by squeezing them?

This seems like the exact same thing, only in the opposite direction. Just strap your thumb and fingers into the loops, and set the resistance on the attached rubber strings. Extend your fingers, and that’s really it.

It sounds like a neat idea. But like the Gripmaster, this will likely collect dust in our drawers.
