I've had one for a week and I previously had a Windows Mobile and Palm based smartphones. I'm really impressed with the user interface, the customization, and the ample number of shortcuts. However, I have been totally disappointed in the reconciliation/synchronization between the BB Bold and Gmail. I mean this should not be difficult--windows mobile handled it easily. However, reading and deleting e-mail in Gmail and not having the changes show up on the BB is crazy. I end up having to manually delete or mark read the messages on the BB. Yes, I have synchronize delete configured for the gmail account on BIS and have BIS configured for IMAP access. Is this simply how things work? I’m new to the world of Blackberry.
