Industry coverage, news, original feature articles, how to guides, videos, podcasts and reviews of BlackBerry service providers, software, accessories, hosted exchange providers and more
A few days ago BBGeeks and our friends at Viigo officially launched our co-branded version of the Tango RSS reader. It had been available as public beta for a short while, but has now been released as a full reader featuring all of your favorite BBGeeks content in custom default feeds.
After the official launch we decided to see what our community of readers could come up with as far as creative uses for the BBGeeks RSS reader. The incentive for submitting your favorite trick or technique was a $50 gift certificate from the BBGeeks Store and a fantastic Viigo soccer jersey for the winner and a second soccer jersey was made available for the runner up.

Winning Entry
Congratulations to our faithful reader Bla1ze who submitted this killer tip for using the BBGeeks RSS reader to track your website statistics while on the move. Thanks for the submission Bla1ze.
Bla1ze said:
I personally use my Viigo to track usage and visitors of my website, incorporating “getclicky” rss feeds I can view the traffic to and from my site as well as view incoming links and determine what files are more popular then others by reviewing the links people click on..this allows me to gauge what visitors may want and what can be considered “non essential” in terms of popular downloads.
Runner Up
Another reader Jesse submitted this tip which was good enough to garner the runner up prize. Thank you Jesse.

I Like to use it for staying up on market intelligence… I use the custom search channels (Google, MSN, Yahoo!) by entering specific keywords. Viigo creates custom search channels for me, including only articles about news that I want to read.
From the News and RSS, click add channel > Add your own channel > Add search Channel. Then enter your keyword and click OK.
Thank You
Again, we here at BBGeeks would like to thank all those who took the time to enter our contest and share their tips and tricks with their fellow readers. Now go ahead and download the reader and see if you can come up with some of your own and leave them in the comments.
Stay tuned to BBGeeks for more great giveaways in the near future.
