I know I promised I would notify the winners of the BBGeeks FREE BlackBerry Giveaway yesterday, but as luck may have it, the powers that be where I live have decided that February 18th is a new holiday. I therefore took the day to enjoy some much needed family time.

I would like to thank those of you who entered the contest for your patience. I now present the winners of our contest, who submitted written entries telling us why they are the “Worlds Biggest BlackBerry Geek”.

It appears that we have a rather shy bunch of readers here at BBGeeks.com. While you don’t seem to have any issues joining in on the discussion on the various comment threads across the website, there is obviously a reluctance to put your geekness on display =)

That is cool, perhaps we were asking for too much. We really just wanted people to have fun with their submissions, whatever format they were submitted in.

In the end, we only wound up with 2 written submission and minimal voting. We have therefore decided to award both entries in our contest with a set of great prizes.
